As for the tree issue, that is an issue we are aware of and it has been scheduled for a fix. As for the shelf issue, that is currently not fixable and will be fixed in future stages of development. Also if your gear gets stuck in a tree / bush again, try to chop the tree or bush down, then you should be able to retrieve your items.
