In 5 minutes time, I have found 2 items in "damaged" condition:
1 x Black Firefighter pants
1 x Combat boots Bluerock
I have used the normal sewing kit on the pants, and leather sewing kit on the boots.
Both items were patched once, on second try I got the message
' This item is pristine, it does not need to be patched'
On the pants (which I was wearing at time of patching) the status 'damaged' only got updated to 'pristine' after dropping them and picking them back up.
Pick up damaged clothing, apply either normal sewing kit or leather sewing kit.
Drop item and pick it up again = pristine condition
I'm going to see if I can get a recording of this, since I am not certain wether
the problem lies with sewing kit behaviour , or broken item condition display.
Video evidence of badly damaged sewing kit making damaged items pristine.
Tested items : beret, canvas shorts, working gloves.
Haven't found a new leather sewing kit to test that one anymore,
for now you'll have to take my word on that. :)
i tried that also and can confirm this behavior, repairing items makes them pristine.
why if u are lucky u can have a chance to make it pristine- I like this potential.
I can confirm that it sometimes work this way
