i was driving a car and then was kicked from a server. while logging in again, i received the message: "Your character was unable to load....."
I disconnected immediateley and joined another server, but I was standing at the beach as a fresh spawn.

It appears that you have joined a server which was booting up and its storage was not loaded fully. That results in server not being able to load your character from the db and creating you a new one. This is an issue we are aware of and there will be system in place to prevent this from happening in the future.
