I've read about it on one "forum". Never used it so can't confirm for last patches.
I really don't like to "tell on" but I hate such exploits and cheats.

Steps To Reproduce
Removing grass in Dayz SA:
- Go to ...\Steam\SteamApps\common\DayZ\Addons
- Find plants2_clutter.pbo
- Cut and paste to Dayz Standalone folder
- Run Dayz, wait till loading and minimize the application (alt+tab).
- Cut plants2_clutter.pbo from Dayz Standalone folder and paste to Addons folder.
- You can play without grass now.

The issue has been fixed internally and should be fixed on current stable branch as well - players that remove the pbo files now should get kicked out of the server after a short while with "corrupted files" message.
