Steps To Reproduce

Grow up some pumpkins without anything.. only some water.
Wait until they are grown up.

Now try to loot them.

They are pristine but the texture is "rotten" (preview texture also).

When it look "rotten" but its just spoiled the vegatbale can be pristine.

Rotten can also be pristine. Likely working as intented.

you can get pristine rotten and normal pristine, its working as intended

Hello Paper26 and thank you for the report.
The damage state (pristine/damaged/ruined) does not have anything to do with the state of fruit (fresh/rotten/baked). Currently the only way to tell whether the fruit is good/bad to eat is by its visual appearance.
