Lower body disappearing after rolling on the ground
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

The whole lower body, e.g. below the belt, may disappear for other players with full trasparency. Occured after a side roll and was reproducible on 3 systems, one with AMD, two with NVidia graphics.

After you lay down and perform a sideways roll, everything below your torso may disappear for other players. Changing stance does not help. Note that the rolling wasn't properly displayed but the animation looked like the model was shunted sideways. For the third player (with the baseball cap) my legs disappeared after a roll as well, but his never did for me. My own legs reappeared for the guy with the black cap then.

Additional Information

Also, there was some kind of invisible barrier in that area (you can see one player running against it and me trying to crawl there). Uncertain whether that has to do with it.

Hello LuisCyphre and thank you for the report.
The issue has been confirmed and scheduled for a fix.

Thanks. May I add something.

This wasn't very hard to discover, it just came up with three machines reliably, and I suspect it will do for everybody.

IMHO, that kind of issue could and should be avoided by following a simple checklist of animations (or whatever a given change may apply to) on a few installations before pushing to stable. Same goes for a lot of other issues reported here, most notably game breaking stuff like the current loot distribution dysfunctionality.

Granted, you can't do that with everything, but at least some superficial QA for _stable_ releases is not too much to ask for anymore, is it.

Hello LuisCyphre.
The issue has been fixed internally and should be fixed on Steam soon.
