No animation when searching for apples if you run towards the tree and spam the bound use key.
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

To get apples from an apple tree you need to select it then search for apples. Then your character initiates the animation. If you sprint towards the apple tree while you have the scroll "Search for apples" seleceted, while sprinting you can infinitely spam use key and you search for apples many times before the animation starts. Results of this are that you get loads of apples which is an unfair advantage. This issue makes the game way too easy if you know this bug abuse to get many apples.

Steps To Reproduce

1: Find an apple tree.
2: Walk as far as you can away from the apple tree, while still having the "Search for apples" scroll menu option visible.
3: Select the option using mouse, while lookingat tree.
4: Tap W twice and hold to start sprinting.
5: While sprinting towards the tree spam the USE key until you get into the animation of collecting apples.

Result of this is you either find nothing or find apples many times in the course of a second or two.

This works roughly 1/5 times, and even higher when you get used to doing it.

Additional Information

This bug seems to be also doable in a weird way by trying to walk into the apple tree and searching it. I have yet to find any way or reproducing the bug, but I've seen people on different livestreams do it, also different people ingame. The difference is that this bug is way more efficient somehow and cancels animations for way longer.

Hello A_slow_Turtle and thank you for the report.
Unfortunately we were unable to reproduce the issue you have described. This could have been caused by the various desync issues which we are aware of and they have been scheduled for a fix.
Regards,
Geez
