Description

New report. Cholera seems bugged and if it's not it needs additional explanation. I tried everything except charcoal tablets.

Previous report:

I don't know if this is normal, if it is you can close it.
I was really low on water and I was completely dehydrated and losing color fast. I drank at a pond because I had to, I drank till I was light green hydrated. I got sick.

I fought it off by drinking from wells running from town to town. At some point I was thirsty and stuffed, so I decided to puke. I had the feeling that the sickness started over again. I had to puke one more time and after that I balanced it out without puking.

I was sick for over 3.5 hours which seems a little long. Let me know if you have any questions. I have it all recorded.

Maybe it was not cholera but just some kind of poisoning?

It still gave the messages that pointed to Cholera. I don't remember the exact text. Something like: There comes a sound out of my guts.

My character seems to be stuck in this loop as well. Initially, I had food poisoning symptoms, healed completely, then received the "guts rumbling" message (no sick indicator), began rapidly losing water (basically stopping normal play), drank so much to avoid dehydration that I puked (repeated this step several times), much later yellow sick indicator appears, and I heal completely. Then less than an hour of gameplay later, the rumbling message reappears (no sick indicator), and I'm once again drinking for my life (repeatedly puking because digestion is slower than the dehydration rate of the disease). This is extremely frustrating, especially with the lack of information provided by the UI/Wiki.

Edit - To put this in perspective, I've spent the better part of 8 hours of gameplay dealing with this, with no apparent end in sight.

@jessy, I've spend over 5 hours with this until I died by zombies. :(
It seemed to be okay but the dehydration is too strong, even when there is no sick status.

I think there's a bug with cholera. I was sick for like 10h. I was full on food, on water, life, blood, everything... I stayed as such for 1h, drinking from clean bottles, eating a lot... and sickness didn't go away. Also took 14 (!!) tetracycline pills in a row, and still sick. At the end I suicide myself, was easier to cross the whole map than try to get rid of cholera.
