Massive frame stuttering stable .55
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

When moving in .55 stable the game stutters too much that it makes it unplayable. I have seen this reported on the reddit so I thought I'd post it on here. I've tried removing my launch parameters and I've verified my game cache. I've never experienced this bug before.
UPDATE - It seems that razer cortex is the culprit. I think it is happening because the DayZ Battleye popup blocks something from Cortex. I suspect this is the issue.

Yes. Frame stuttering is still there in 0.55 like in 0.54 and 0.53.

Very often the frames drop down to 2 or 1 for about 20 seconds and most of the textures gets reloaded.

When entering in a city the frames also drop very bad.

No this is different Paper26. Go check this forums post out guys. This is the big problem. http://feedback.dayzgame.com/view.php?id=247

This is a completely different issue all together @AntisocialChump The issue you linked is due to the current renderer. The new renderer will fix it. My issue is most likely linked to Battleye blocking something from Razer Cortex.

Oh sorry man forgive me, btw when will they put the new renderer in?

But if this is a big problem like this and known since 1 1/2 years, why thney don't put in a completely new engine?

There is a engine developped by Bohemia.. It's Name starts with V3 or VS I don't know anymore.. this engine would be perfect for DayZ.

@Paper26 They are implementing an engine. It's called enfusion. The reason it is taking so long is because the enfusion engine will be used for future Bohemia titles. They can't just add an engine. It takes a long time.
