Basically bought the game about a week ago on Steam. I have been playing it fine until today. I attempted to play the game and it popped up with the Battleye EULA agreement I had accepted on the first day, I thought nothing of it and continued to proceed to accept the EULA. Once I accepted, a CMD prompt window showed me that it was updating Battleye (All expected). So far so good. Once that finished, it attempted to boot up the game and gave me the error:
blah blah......0x00540680 referenced memory 0x00000000....... blah blah.
Once I hit ok, it terminates the DayZ process and ends the program. 9/10 times I attempt to boot the game, It gives me this same error instantly on start-up. On rare occasions it gets me into the main menu but as soon as I try to login to a server, It kicks me back to a CMD prompt window in which it updates Battleye and says near the end "Make sure to run game using Steam...." or something like that.
I have tried everything there is on the forums relating to Battleye errors of this kind. I have attempted to :
-Delete Battleye files and redownload fresh ones
-Verify game integrity on Steam
-Run basically anything DayZ or Battleye or Steam related w/ Admin Priviliges
-Defragged computer
-Hell I even installed a fresh Win 7
-Updated ALL drivers (they were all up-to-date though)
-^^ Wiped all drivers and installed fresh ones thinking it would help
Im so lost, and I just bought this game :C *cries in corner*
