I cant change my character, and i never see my character loadout on the main screen.

I deleted the DayZ folder from my documents and recreated, i also deleted the game and installed into a new library.

You may have started DayZ with the startup parameter "-word=empty". As JustCaused already suggested, disable all launch options and try again.
Also, validate you game files after every update just to make sure there's nothing wrong with them.
If this issue should remain, consider attaching a DxDiag to this ticket.

Ok, so i never used world empty.
These were my launch options
-skipintro -nosplash, while i appreciate that this is a workaround for my issue, there should be a bug logged for it, as those options are valid, and this is a side affect.

Hello darkvirus and thank you for the report.
Please remove the current launch parameters (-skipintro -nosplash) from the game. These parameters are not supported and seem to cause various issues within the game.
