Description

Started DayZ, looted the prison island then saw to shore. Ran toward kamenka and then my fps dropped significantly and all my textures became low poly.

Same here. Found out the reason are the startparams. delete them all and that kind of superlag is done. but fps are lower.

Yep, same.

Just made a similar report. Didn't check for existing tickets..Maybe I should have :p

@NewOutlaw: I don't use startparams (except for the skip intro thing) and it happens to me as well. So I'm not sure they're related.

Same issue. No launch parameters. After a few mins of play i get a FPS freeze for about 5 secs then springs back into life with low poly textures and FPS stuck at 2-3 FPS. have to restart game to get it to go away but happens again few mins later

I agree Bron. It's not a start perimeter issue. This has something to do with the most recent patch.

Hello PwnDailY and thank you for the report.
We have analyzed the attached crashdumps and came up with possible solutions:

  • If you are running the game with any startup parameters, remove them as they are not supported and seem to cause various issues within the game.
  • Update your video drivers and vcredist
  • verify data on steam..

Please report back whether that has fixed the issue or not.
Regards,
Geez

@Geez I've remove launch parameters, verified files and my vcredist seems to be up to date. However... I've crashed again, but without the texture glitch. I've uploaded a new crash report.
