I didn't abuse it but sure could have.
Player model was invisible to other players, couldn't see me or hear me but I could drop items for them or pick items up. Didn't attempt shooting anyone or damaging other players as I didn't want to "cheat" but this could be a pretty serious advantage, obviously.
