You have to put the pot on the ground,in order to put meat inside,after that you can put it back into the fire and cook the meat.
Its kind of strange,but it works^^

Thats the problem, I tried that and it did not work :s, maybe it was the server at the certain time? Or a bug with only deer steak? Anyone tried deer steak? I don't know :P

it works as hassfried described. as far as i know this works with all available kinds of meat. only issue is with the fish filet which will not get cooked as it is not properly implemented at this time (0.53 stable).

Remember to click "view content" on cooking pot (on the ground), before putting meat in.

I tried everything but it kept giving me red status and could not put it in, i think it was a problem at the specific time, I will try again another time. Thank you guys :)

Unfortunately we were not able to reproduce this issue.Please retest after next Steam update and if you encounter the issue again, feel free to submit another ticket.
