Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Dayz won't start and I have a error message: The instruction at 0x5c46b128 referenced memory at 0x7b7166ec. The memory could not be read. What I try already:

  • verifying the data (Steam Library - Rightclick on DayZ - Properties - Local files - Verify integrity of game cache)
  • reinstalling the game
  • reinstalling the Steam
  • launching Steam and the game as Administrator
  • launching the game with different parameters
  • manual reinstalling Battleye and run as Administrator

I have dell alienware laptop m11xr2 with 8 GB of memmory and Dayz working at my laptop very well, but after a short break with playing (maybe month) after update with Battleye stops. I have window "preparing to lauch" and nothing happens, then after latest update I have this error message as I describet above. I attach dxdiag.txt, AppData folder (C:\Users\<Name>\AppData\Local\DayZ\) and error screen.

Hi destos and sorry to hear about your trouble.
Please try also reinstalling your video drivers and turning off any unnecessary options in your graphics card setting.
In the meanwhile, we will take a look into your AppData files and try to find the cause.
Thanks,
Andy

I install latest video drivers dedicated for my laptop and that helps. Now everything work fine. Thanks for help!
