Often the only option you have then is to cancel the current action without having crafted/applied the splint or without being hydrated after drinking all of the water. You are simply stuck at the end of the drinking/crafting/applying animation without the effect of what you have done. So you have to cancel and try again, often with no better outcome.

Might be server related so I don't know how you would reproduce. Just try to do it and on various servers it just won't work.

Ping was always below 200 when I tried these so it's not really a lag issue. More of an "unable to finish what was started" thing. Not sure what is the cause.
