Character forcefully(!) keeps running while switching weapons

Description

I know we as a community asked for the ABILITY(!) to keep running while switching weapons but now the character FORCEFULLY keeps running while switching weapons EVEN IF WE LET GO OF THE MOVEMENT KEYS. That is NOT what we asked for.

Running while switching weapons should be OPTIONAL. If we keep pressing the movement keys we should keep moving and if we let go of the movement keys we should stop.

Hi app0815,
the way this currently works, is that the character retains its stillness/movement from just before the animation begun throughout the whole animation. I've checked and there is no forced running if the character is standing still when starting the animation - your issue was presumably caused by desync.
The problematic implementation itself is being worked on and will be changed eventually - please be patient.
