Military Tent Bugs Slot Usage
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Military tents have 252 available slots for usage. This would be a great addition to collectible inventory, except for that, not only do the tents not save when a server is reset, but the tent storage cannot all be accessed. The tent storage can only be seen in a 7Wx14L (98 slot total) area and cannot be scrolled to access the rest of the storage. Not only that, but because of this, whenever a server is reset or crashed, and the slots rearrange (as they do in backpacks as well), the items that dip into the unseen storage capacity are deleted from existence. This is really frustrating as it only further limits the items I can not only store, but am now unwilling to place into the tent's inventory, making it seem useless for long term item conservation efforts.

Steps To Reproduce

The problem can be reproduced by placing a full inventory, as shown in the photo, in the tent and then restarting the server to cause automatic rearrangement of the items. The items caught beneath the final visible row should delete and be unrecoverable.

Additional Information

The attached picture shows the inventory as it looks when it is filled. The giant blank space on the bottom right is an example of the idea that the 252 total slots are there, but not visible. That item is a gas can, whose top area I dragged over the bottom of the inventory and placed. The smaller one on the left is a medkit undergoing the same issue.

I tested this with non-storage related items such as weapons and they too lost their image and disappeared after restart.

My recommendation to fix the issue would be to allow for a scrollable inventory to allow the other items to "exist" in the tent.
