Hacks and hackers make this game unplayable

Description

The rise of hackers in high population servers is becoming intolerable for everyone playing this game. As a server owner I have seen numerous hackers on my servers, reaching instances of at least one hacker a day.
The situation has become so bad that I (and many of my 24 person squad) are playing this game less and less.
Here are a few suggestions for consideration that could help server owners nip these Devils in the bud;

  1. Give server owners access to the sql data base for their servers. This would allow the server admin greater latitude to identify hackers while their are in and out of the game and show their guid.
  2. More complete logs of players and their guid along with their locations, play time, time stamps and inventory. Again this would proved server owners with the tools needed to prevent hacking.
  3. Beef up battleye and its scan of player hard drives when they join a battleye enable server!

If the problem of cheaters isn't resolved soon your game will be dead before beta...

I encounter at least one hacker per full server. While the more severe forms of hacking from before seem to have declined, teleporting/speed hacking seems to be very common.

You are nearly guaranteed to run into these types of players in the active major cities like elektro if you are on a populated server.

  • First : For the moment, the databases of the players are not on the admin server site but on a bohemia global server.
  • Second : Give access of the database (Even in read access...) and database schema can allow cheater to find new ways to cheat...
  • Third : How do you know that it's a SQL database ? (And how do you know that "admin" know the language behind the DataBase ?)

It's kind of useless to ban cheater one by one, the better way to do that is to wait the improvement of Battleyes...(Even if it's take time :s)

i agree with you. When ever i post, that the hackers become more control of the game as the admin the post will be deleted.

I'm an admin too but the admin should not know with Player is where and what Equipment the Player has. If you could have the Infos then admin could cheat the same way.
But a log where is listed "GUID/Steam-ID kills GUID/Steam-ID: TIMESTEMP" and a working ban-list also for public-server would be great.

At the same time BE needs to be better by scanning DayZ files and all working processes also during the game.

currently hackers can control other players, they have more power than admins and are really killing the game.
