0.52 Patch - No loot?
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

In 3 different servers I joined today (20/12/2014) no building I entered EVER had loot in. It was the same across both server types, 1st person and 1st/3rd person servers. I have tried waiting there, like the common server issue on the ArmA 2 DayZ mod, but still no loot had spawned, even on severs where there was just 2 players on, meaning there was little or no chance of that server overload error.

I'm running a private shard on Vilayer. Since the patch and DDOS (impossible to know which from this end) zombies spawn but no loot. I've tried turning off persistence, as well as having it on and reset the persistence instance... and pretty much anything I can think of, but to no avail. Loot just will not spawn.

EDIT: I just had an exchange with Vilayer support, who told me that Bohemia have had some problems in getting the 0.52 update out, so some servers have been given the wrong files.

Hi ahnion,

Are they working to get the servers updated properly as the server I use has had no loot as of last night until current time.

Moffat30: Well, once I got in touch with Vilayer support and told them about the problem, they had it fixed in twenty minutes. If the server you're on is having the exact same issue (which is, I suppose, likely) then I would assume the owner needs to get in touch with the provider's support so that they can fix it. That's what I did.
