I can load into game but in 2 to 15 minutes I get a black screen. Last server was: Dayz-Hosted by Fragnet.net and version is 0.50.125369 (stable). This happens on all servers I have been on. Moving or standing still is no diffrent.
I can only leave black screen by Cont-Alt-delete.
I have to close game from task manager.
I have noticed 2 messages. The Windows message stated above. Second, Video card has stopped working and was recovered sucessfully.

Simply start game and wait or run, play, loot. Its of no consiquence. In town or in forest. Fighting a zombie or nothing at all.

I suffer through a few min of play at a time.Believe it or not Steam says Ive logged 96 hours in this game. I just wont continue attempting to play like this. This has been happening since the day I bought this.

It is not possible to play anymore. Crashing is happening all the time now. It is worse since the last patch.Simply unplayable.

"Display Driver has stopped responding and has recovered." is often due to Overlocking ant to low voltage. Did you OC your GPU?

I removed all video drivers and performed a clean installation from Nvidia website.
Now I am getting a

Still not able to play for more than about 5 min.

I reinstalled game but no change. Kept crashing.
I did drive check then played again. crashed again, Played for about 30 min crash, 30 min crash,45 min logged out. this morning.
In last hour 20 min crash, 35 min crash, load in crash instant, load in crash instant.
Andy, this is really ridiculous. I clearly understand Alpha and Beta games. Glitching is one thing but this is not a playable game for some reason. I spent a couple hundred dollars to upgrade processor just for your game. Nothing helps.
If you can't help me out I must request a full refund (steam credit).
I will work with you to get it working properly but if we can't solve this I must move on.

I have installed a 29 GB SSD. This is a secondary drive.
I was wondering if this would help. If so, do I need to uninstall steam from main drive and install Steam on SSD?
Then install DayZ from there?
Or is there some way to uninstall DayZ from main drive and install it to the SSD?

This may be premature. I may have solved the problem by running DayZ from the solid state drive.
I play for a couple of hours. Once in that time I received on screen message saying no message is received with so many seconds. I think that a server restart message. For the first time I actually had to log out of game.
