Punctuation on status messages is missing./There's punctuation on status messages.

Description

There punctuation on some status message (the more newly implemented) and there isn't on some others.
This difference in punctuation seems quite weird and there should be a decision on wether to punctuate status messages or not to and then the result should be implemented.

As the notification system is a subject to an eventual overhaul, we are going to let this slide for now - be patient however, these issues will eventually get fixed, one way or another.
