Recently playing public hive, the server automatically restarted, and I had attempted to join the same server later during that restart, but it was still attempting to restart, so I joined another server spawning on the shore.

When I had left the prior server, it was a manual exit 5 minutes before its restart in a safe spot. There were about 5 players on the server when I had left.
