It would be nice to hold an item (second rifle, tent) in left hand and in the mean time be able to use a one handed weapon (pistol, knife) in the right hand. Of course with the price of reduced accuracy and slower chambering and reloading time with pistol and reduced attack speed with one handed melee weapons.
