Steps To Reproduce
  • walk parallel to the base of the slope (don't sprint)
  • assign any weapon (tryed with mp5 in backpack and with axe on back) to a keybind (let's say 3 - from the hotbar)
  • once the animation to reach for weapon starts, turn torwards the slope and continue to hold W (walk)
  • once you start walking fast up the slope, keep pressing (spamming) 3 (assigned key)
Additional Information

with this bug you get up any mountain in a fraction of the time you do by normal walking

Hi Acidripp,
I consulted this with the animators and the issue is closely linked to various general mechanic of the animation system. It will take a bigger overhaul of the system itself to get rid of this issue.
I am going to close this ticket for now - rest assured that we will look into this, but it might take some time. Please be patient.
