On stable first person I had an aks74u in my inventory, with a magazine and standard aks74u buttstock attached. I painted the aks74u green, (was previously painted black), the buttstock and magazine became detached from the gun, the buttstock was placed in my inventory, however the magazine was not, despite there being ample room in my inventory for it. I looked on the ground around where I painted the rifle and could not find it (however it was a night on the server so it was hard to see), and walked around with my inventory up and it did not show up in the vicinity.
