We setup 8 tents on the NL 3-20 server by vilayer and in 24 hours all was gone, this is unacceptable, from all that i read online persistance should work, but it does not!

As you mention, the persistence should be working. Have you been in contact with the GSP and enquired as to what happened?

I guess I'm gonna keep my tent until the next update then. I wish the devs would actually tell us exactly how the persistence system works or if it even works at all.

Some servers claim to be persistent but are not. You can test this by dropping an item and seeing if it's there still the next day. Even on persistent servers tents are glitchy at best. I find none of my items show in my tent after i freshly log in, until i place an item in the tent.

happened again on different server... (DO NOT JOIN - KICK ON SIGHT) tents were fine for more than a week, had 2 locations - a few in near cherno and a few near kami - the tents disappeard without a trace
We also got robbed but they allways left stuff on the ground because they could not cary all, so unless 10 people found the tents at the same time (45 mins since we last saw them) this is a server/persistance bug
Other servers were fine...
P.S.= what is GSP ?

GSP means game server provider.
I'll close the ticket since it's not possible to reproduce this bug internally and since persistence can only be activated on the servers according to your description. The issue seems related to players finding your tents.
