Hi Vseznamus,
it is possible that the backpack simply has not "refreshed" and is not showing its contents visually.
Would it be possible to let me know if the issue persists after a reconnect or if you are able to put items in the backpack? It is possible that the items are indeed inside, just not visible on the Inventory screen.
