Hey, this bug is even in Arma 3, but it is the only games I have experienced this. Basically if you are ingame and take off headphones jack, it wont be playing from stereo. If I have stereo and then plug in headphones, it still palys in stereo until I restart the game.

Sadly, this is a known issue (which is why A3 suffers from the same thing). It will get looked into eventually, but it is not planned at the moment.
