I've had this in the large factory building (with the ladder that leads to the room that exits to the roof) and also other industrial parts with ladders.

Climbing up ladders means that the zombies are unable to follow, but they still seem to try to get directly to you. When they are on scaffoldings running around trying to reach you, they seem to fall to their death. See pic
