For me it works, I dont know what happend to you. Try anthoner building or outside?

I noticed it won't warm you in some buildings, I was in the high rise buildings in dubkey top floor and it wouldn't warm me.

I then moved to the storage units (red doors group of 3) closed the door made my fire, still wouldn't warm me up, opened the door and bang was warming up pretty fast.

Fires need to be placed at ground level for them to be effective. If you are at ground level, make sure your fire is floating. Usually dragging it slightly in Inventory window readjusts to ground, if you're at ground level.

@RagedDrew is correct. It seems the bug is that if your fireplace is not at ground level, the fireplace will not warm you.

@JoeysLucky22 I can confirm that. But sometimes even on ground level it's not working. I found that the only way for it to work is to be on dirt ground, in a forest and the like.

Fire from gas stoves don't warm me up inside or outside a building. Right pain.

this has been tweaked recently and should be much better now.
