Game starts to load from Steam them crashes

Description

NOTE! Jiri has full info too. DID NOT occur with 48.124737. When I downloaded latest version I found I could no longer play, game just crashes when I attempt to start. See below for error message.
On Jiri's advice I have updated all drivers and wiped STEAM and reinstalled it, still cannot launch game.

Every time I try to launch game it crashes.

Have updated all drivers and done everything Jiri has asked of me.

Hello Kim,
it seems that we have managed to fix this problem on our internal version and it should also be fixed for you when the new Steam update is published.
Would it be possible to let me know after, if the issue has gone away?

Hi Andy.
I have downloaded vers 49.124972 and can now get back in the game. However, any time I go into a building either all or most of the walls seem to disappear. This was happening on a previous build too so is this a widespread problem?

happy to hear the initial problem has been taken care of!
The performance issues are something we are aware of and working on - please see #17013.
