Vilayer servers crashing frequently and intermittently without persistence on.
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

I have 2 servers with Vilayer the IP's are:

119.252.190.93:2802
119.252.190.93:2702

I had persistence turned on but due to items being duped via tents/backpacks and frequent crashing I have since had persistence turned off.

Even with persistence off both my servers crash very frequently and intermittent with 10 players or 40 players, doesn't matter. Everytime it crashes I will have to restart the servers manually and this is becoming a pain. I do not know if it's Vilayer specific but they have been having issues ongoing for a month now with various problems concerning server crashing.

My understanding is that the servers should not be crashing as frequently as they are without persistence on.
Is this a Vilayer specific issue? Can we get it rectified? Because at this point Vilayer seems to take no responsibility for these very frequent and intermittent crashes. Hence why I am here reporting it. If Vilayer can't take care of it, who can?

Could it be a server misconfiguration? Could it be AU server specific?
These are all questions that need answers and at this point Vilayer is answering none of them.

I can understand servers crashing under load sometimes but from what I know they should not be crashing as frequent as they are currently, especially with persistence off.

Hello JMan,

Thanks for sending us your feedback regarding this issue. The devs are aware that some servers still suffer from the crashes/freezes after the hotfix and they're still working on eliminating the problem.
