It's been a month and still no one checked this problem i'm having that makes the game unplayble for me and a lot of people. When in fact one of the staff said it was going to check this... I bought the game for 24€ and i can't just play in peace because of this stutterings. Please give priority to the performance issues instead of adding more unstable features. I know it's an Alpha... but atleast make it playble for those who want to help fixing DayZ and have some fun in the process.

terribly sorry for your trouble and the delay here.
We are aware of a variety of performance issues which are hard for us to fix promptly at the current stage of the development.
Have you tried playing the game at lower video settings? Turning off other applications while playing could also help with the performance.
It would be appreciated if you could attach your DxDiag report to this ticket, however, sadly - the problem here might be hard for us to fix at the moment.

Thanks for the late but kind reply, I uploaded my DxDiag, it's in Portuguese, hope there is no problem about that...

I did try to lower all my settings, to the lowest actually, even textures, but the game still freezes on cities, altho it runs great on forests and such. I also played with all the other aplications closed, even with Windows defender off. No fix.

I also changed all the laptop and graphics card settings to performance to play this game, and still wont fix it.

The other day I found out that my ram is about 89% when playing this game, I have 4GB DDR3 1600mhz. The game keeps using around 2gb or more, but the ram is at that percentage. I probably need to buy more ram to play this game. I will def buy more, but in the recommended specs on steam says 4gb... so...

I can play games on ultra like BF3, BF4, FC3, Tomb Raider, etc. I have a 64x system and Dayz should be optimized for that.

Hope you guys do something about it in the near future, since i bought the game but already unistalled it cus it's pretty much unplayable. Happened to a lot of my friends too.

It's okay Andy, I don't want to be the mean guy to push you guys. Just would like to play this amazing game with no performance issues.

With the new 0.50 update I think things got a little bit better... But Still have massive unplayable freezes near buildings and cities, the game runs well in the forest and other places far from buildings.

Hello! Just to update this issue, I gave another try to DayZ after I saw the new patch, unfortunately the freezes still persists in the new update Stable 0.51.125720. I almost died when 2 zombies charged me while I was completely freezed.

I enjoyed to patch tho, very good work, loved the fact that zombies no longer get across closed doors and walls. The rain effect and all the other improvements.

The freezes aren't so severe right now. I think I can consider this game a bit playable now.

Except for some very big cities or towns... or sometimes random places... The Freezes have gotten better substancially.

I still want to see this fully fixed. I will hate when I'll die because of this. Some times it does freeze when I'm fighting zombies and it's very annoying because there is no way but to get hit.

Sometimes it seems like the fact of getting hit, provokes the freeze too. Not sure about this tho.
