Zombie behavior is ridiculous.
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Every time I spawn and try to sneak around and grab loot, zombies notice me from extreme distances and cannot be dealt with unless I find a firefighter axe or a firearm and ammunition, which never happens. Additionally, running into a building and closing the door does not stop the zombies, especially if there are multiple attacking. The zombies just glitch through the door and or walls or sometimes hit me while they are still outside. The whole situation is making the game unplayable to me.

If you spawn, they will come.

Additional Information

If axes were simply more commonly available, this problem would be mitigated easily. The other option would be to tone down the zombies detection and tracking capabilities.

One other solution is to finally start working on a decent melee system. Really, devs, this can't be more than a placeholder.
Sidestrafing and one type of strike, that's it?
And most melee weapons are pointless! Even the classic modern melee weapon, the baseball bat.

learn to deal with them lol, they are really easy to get past or beat down. I've never had an issue with them, apart from that one time when hit detection wasn't working, now, 3 or 4 hits to the head with a shovel, 2 or 3 hits with a hoe, 1 or 2 hits with a splitting/wood cutting axe 1 hit with a fire axe and/or multiple hits to head with your fists will rid you of your problem.
