So, sometimes when me or my mates kill people, we aren't able to loot him cause we didnt see anything in his backpack or jacket etc.. Switching an item from our inventory to his one, seems to fix this. Same is happening when you found a first aid kit ! U have to put it in your inventory to see what it contains.
