Works like the old food glitch that would let you "X" the item out of your hand then finish the animation and get the effects without losing the item. Just put it in your hand, apply saline/blood/bandage/morphine to another player, then open your inventory and "X" then item out of your hand. The animation will finish, the player will receive the effects of the medicine, and the original item will still be in your inventory.... unused.
