Fire Fighter Coat
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Wearing a Fire Fighter coat in the rain results in becoming soaked
Real turnout gear has a waterproof layer so super heated moisture will not penetrate the coat.
The coat in the game should give you protection from the rain.

Hey razertx,

Thanks!
I'm a Fire Fighter/EMT in real life, so I was very disappointed in it.
You may also like to know that the shell typically is made of a kevlar/canvas material, so it's a lot more durable that normal clothes. Maybe it should be a super rare, but super useful coat.

provide extra protection? at the cost of being very hot to wear on warmer days (if they ever return to Chenarus).

We have tweaked this on the internal version, the Firefighting gear now behaves the same as e.g. Raincoats. Hopefully that is okay :). Should be on Steam within the next update.
We might consider changing the protection values, but at the moment I cannot promise you that.
Thanks again for your feedback!
Regards,
Andy
