Had this problem with my wife her PC after changing a GPU.
Only thing that helped was a Delete local Files and download the Game once again.

I have reinstalled the local files twice now and sadly to no avail, issue persists. Thank you for your advice though.

Okay new information on the launch proceedings. Ran the program through dependency walker, this was what came about:

Error: At least one module has an unresolved import due to a missing export function in an implicitly dependent module.
Error: Modules with different CPU types were found.
Warning: At least one module has an unresolved import due to a missing export function in a delay-load dependent module.

I had a boat load of missing .dll's which I went through and downloaded manually. Tish was the outcome. Restarting to see if the issue resolves.

Issues persist sadly. Looked up what .dll's were not functioning and I found a few .dll's were 32bit only and I'm running a 64 bit system with windows 7. Mind you a good bit I downloaded and installed manually and found no 64bit versions. They are as follows:
API-MS-WIN-SHCORE-SCALING-L1-1-1.DLL - CPU x86 - 32bit
STEAM_API.DLL - CPU x86 - 32bit - Downloaded Steam_api64.dll to compensate while keeping the original as backup
API-MS-WIN-CORE-WINRT-ERROR-L1-1-0.DLL - CPU x86 - 32bit

DayZ itself
DAYZ.EXE - CPU x86 - 32bit

Guess with your installation is something wrong...
Try not to simply reinstall, but delete every file that has todo with dayz

Windows + E
Type on the upper right corner *DayZ* and Delete everything you find.

Uninstall Steam.

Download a fresh Steam from the INternet (not an old exe in your Download Folder^^)
All other Games should be automatically installed. Download DayZ again and install it...

Don't know if it works, but it's worth a try :-S

Hi FalseChaimera,
is this still an issue?
If so, please follow the instructions for reporting crashes that can be found at http://feedback.dayzgame.com/how-to-user.html and provide the necessary files.
Thank you,
Andy
