I just bought Day Z today through steam. After launching the application my game shows a loading screen for a second, turns black, and then displays the desktop. However the game appears to be running as I can see it running in the task manager. And every time I click the Day Z icon in the taskbar it just flashes the screen black and goes right back to the desktop. I would like this resolved or a refund. I understand the game will be buggy, but if I can't even play it then I expect a refund.

I have solved the problem. It appears to have been an issue with my graphics card / monitor. I had to monitors plugged in to my graphics card. The game started full screen after unplugging one and restarting my computer. However for some reason the game was stuck in the unplugged monitors resolution. To fix I had to hard code the resolution into the config file.
