Game crashes and then followed by Data Execution Prevention notification
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

After about 5 minutes of gameplay, my DayZ stops responding and crashes. This is followed by a notification about Data Execution Prevention and so I figure that windows is deliberately crashing DayZ.

I have tried to make DayZ an exception to DEP but it says "You cannot turn off DEP for this program." I searched for answers and found a command for the command prompt to disable DEP entirely, yet this has also not worked!

I love the game but this DEP crash makes it unplayable. I searched hours and hours on the internet for answers/solutions. Many other dayz players have the same problem, but also do not have any solution.

Hi kvk60,
is this still an issue?
If so, please reproduce the crash again and upload the contents of the AppData folder again.
Thank you,
Andy
