Whenever I join Dayz and start playing and looting and whatnot, it will crash within 5-10 minutes, constantly. The game just freezes, then it crashes, and I have to cntrl+alt+delete and close the game through the task manager. It's been happening for a couple of months now but I haven't reported it, hopefully you can find a fix.

Maybe it's related to the fact that there's too many items being loaded and my GPU/CPU can't handle it? It used to crash every 1-2 minutes once I'm in a game, but then I disabled AMD Overdrive and it stopped crashing that soon, now it's only 5-10 minutes. It happens a lot in towns and cities, particularly Svetlo, I've stopped playing as it's pretty unplayable. The crashing always happens in the latest stable version, haven't even gone near experimental.
Event Timeline
Hi,
We need the files from
C:/Users/<Name>/AppData/Local/DayZ/
Pack the files into a .rar file - if the RAR is smaller than 5000KB, you can attach it here. If it's larger, please upload it to a file sharing website and link it here.
Thanks
Hi, any information on a fix? I should also add that my GPU is only a 256mb one. Also I logged onto my hardcore server and found most of my items missing, lost my pistols and ammo and shit, so presumably you guys were checking my character out. I also crashed about a minute after logging in for a bit.
Hi,
You'll need to wait for a developer to come along and acknowledge this issue.
Your items were, unfortunately, most likely lost to some sort of bug.
Hey,

Hi iidf123,
is this still an issue?
If so, please reproduce the crash again and upload the newly generated contents of the AppData folder.
Thank you,
Andy
