This isn't about a bug but feedback on controller support (+new ideas for the general game)...
I had contacted about this before a while ago... that ticket was sent to a team... is it okay if this is sent too?
Since controller is quite involved in the community now I decided to make it a reddit post - just so anyone with controller could put some input too if they have anything to add. (hoping it's helpful input).

The other things I'd mention is...
sensitivity settings for each aim type - Aim down sight sensitivty and hipfire sensitivity should be separate... I play at 100% sensitivity for hipfire but 64% on R6S as an example... everyone has their own sensitivity though...
options for left stick and right stick deadzone. (put deadzone at 1% or 100%)

Pretty much if that last feature was added to DayZ... that'd make most console players switch from a lot of FPS games... only overwatch has done it and it's not a "realism" based game.
