Currently Reforger has built-in support for only squad callsigns (e.g. Alpha Red-1), and not command hierarchy (e.g. 1st Squad, 2nd Platoon, Alpha Company, or 1-2-A).
My observation is that command hierarchy is more useful to kick start player organization and division of tasks and responsibilities. Without an existing structure it is difficult for someone to take charge and delegate to others.
Once a chain of command is established, callsigns can elevate teamwork by simplifying communications and providing reference keywords for tasks and responsibilities (e.g. Buffalo is rotary wing transport based at Saint-Phillipe Airport, experience with the ArmA franchise and other military shooters is that command hierarchies make it easier to kick start player organization and division of tasks and responsibilities. Samba is infantry squad based at Entre-deuxWithout them, Joker is recon team stationed at Bonfire Hill watching Figaricallsigns usually reinforce independent and uncoordinated action, Archer is a rocket artillery battery standing by, etc.).creating an environment where it is difficult for players to take charge and delegate to others.
The request is in three parts:
From my experience with players new to the ArmA franchise or # Add support for a single Platoon commander unit to the realism shooter genre, without a command hierarchy,Groups tab in the Player menu. callsigns usually reinforce independent and uncoordinated action instead of initializing teamwork and chain of command.
The request is in two parts:
If such a unit already exists in the faction, then no more commander units can be created.
# Add the command hierarchy to the Groups tab in the Player menu
# Add squadunit naming conventions to the Groups tab in the Player menu
Since thisa picture is difficult to explain ieasier to understand than words, I've attached a mockup for reference.

The desired effect is that players immediately understand that there should be a command structure upon joining the server, thus priming them to accept a chain of command, and those seeking to take charge can refer to this structure to delegate responsibilities.
