No!!! What did my base — built over three and a half months of hard and intense labor — ever do to you?!!! Seriously, no!!! I much prefer playing on official servers. Also, I play in Europe, and 95% of hackers/dupers are from the USA or Asia (just check server locations / name on Reddit to confirm). The last confirmed case of a cheater I encountered in the EU was over a year ago. I don’t know what’s prompting you to plan a wipe, but please: If it’s for technical reasons such as a data structure change => Write a migration tool to convert the old data into the new format. If it’s because of cheaters/dupers => They’ll get raided anyway. And at worst, only wipe the USA/Asia servers — **not Europe**. Wipe the characters if you must — **but not the bases**!!! Previous wipes annoyed me, but since I had been raided, it was okay. But not this time! Since I built my new base, over three and a half months ago, nobody has raided me! I can accept being wiped by raiders — not by updates! (I’m a software engineer, and working on systems that update without service interruption or data loss is part of my job.) Please, don’t do this — and don’t ever do it again. If it happens… DayZ is by far my favorite game, and I will continue playing it. But, as heartbreaking as it is, I will leave official servers and switch to private ones — **until Bohemia releases a clear statement promising they will not wipe what we’ve built.** Have a good day
