We deal with this by dropping hiking bag on the ground, emptying bag than picking up bag from playing screen. Do not go back into viewing screen while holding the bag or it will glitch again, drop bag first.

We deal with this by dropping bag/container on ground to sort items. Also if able to, back out of inventory screen by using select (inventory button) instead of the B button! This is more of a nuisance than anything due to the common muscle/mind reflex of using the B button to back out of inventory screens.
