Just a bug. Trying to find a workaround for it. Might try dropping pot to ground and drinking next time. Ahh.... Might try dropping pot to ground and drinking next time (//Update//: tried that too - pot on ground / mouse over the pot and scroll to 'drink all' (without using the inventory screen) and click / same effect as above).
