This would help describing the group as a whole (example: Motorized infantry platoon 1, squad B). Much better than putting everything into the description box (in previous example I'd use "Automatic rifleman, fireteam 2" instead of what I have to use now, "Motorized infantry platoon 1, squad B - Automatic rifleman, fireteam 2".
Summary: It would make the lobby look cleaner and it would be much easier to find the right slot.
