I've had this happen to me twice since the new update. I took off The jacket I was wearing and dropped it on the ground, assuming I'd be able to take the contents out of it via the vicinity tab, only defined the shirt disappeared beneath the textures of the floor of the building I was in. I was unable to retrieve the items.
