I love the new sky rendering update. However, I noticed an issue common to many games - the sky looks purple during sunrise and sunset. This is not physically accurate but can easily be fixed.
The Github user "FarukEroglu2048" has provided an excellent [[ https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/replace-the-atmosphere-parameters-with-more-accurate-ones-from-arpc/607603 | explanation ]] on the issue on the Microsoft Flight Sim forums, as well as a public [[ https://github.com/FarukEroglu2048/ARPC | repository ]] with the implementation details of the fix. This tweak has already been implemented by the developers of the popular flight sim "X-Plane 12", and the developers of Microsoft Flight Sim have confirmed that are looking into adding it as well.
This is a relatively simple fix that makes an incredible difference to the game. Please consider looking into this.
